J.D. FUNARI - Director, Editor, Executive Producer

J.D. Funari has been a film editor in Los Angeles for over 15 years, his work featured on marketing campaigns for filmmakers such as David Fincher, Denis Villeneuve, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Denzel Washington, Jean-Marc Vallée, Jonathan Glazer, Alex Garland, Drake Doremus, and Nicholas Winding Refn among others. Between 2012 and 2018 he was employed by Mark Woollen & Associates, one of the premiere movie marketing agencies in the country, where he edited award-winning trailers for the movies Fences, BirdmanEnemy, Bad Words, Don Jon, Only God Forgives, and Simon Killer.  He currently works for Netflix’s in-house marketing team. While Exposure marks J.D.'s directorial debut, he unofficially started as a filmmaker in 2002 with the short Evening Message, hailed by FilmThreat.com as “required viewing for any grass-roots filmmaker.”


PETER HANSON

PETER HANSON - Screenwriter

Peter Hanson is the director of films including the acclaimed screenwriting documentary Tales from the Script, and the author of the books Dalton Trumbo, Hollywood Rebel (a finalist for the Theatre Library Association Award), The Cinema of Generation X, and Tales from the Script: 50 Hollywood Screenwriters Share Their Stories. He also co-wrote the narrative feature The Last Round, and he writes the daily blog Every 70s Movie. Additionally, Hanson is a screenwriting professor and consultant. A Michigan native, Hanson did his undergraduate film studies at NYU and earned his MFA in screenwriting at UCLA. Website: GrandRiverFilms.com

COLIN OH - Cinematographer

Colin Oh was born in New York and grew up in Princeton, New Jersey. He has been surrounded by art since birth, his mother being a trained painter and his father being a still photographer. He graduated from Drexel University in 2008 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in cinematography. He is an alumnus of the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory with a M.F.A in cinematography. He has shot many narrative films and music videos that have gone the festival circuit. Colin's work has also been featured on MTV, Huffington Post, Vogue, Milk, and Nylon. For 2013-2014, he was chosen to be a Cinematographer for Film Independent's Project Involve. While at Project Involve, Colin has been receiving 1-on-1 mentorship from Eric Steelberg, ASC.

KENJI UEDA - Composer

Kenji Ueda is a film composer/multi-instrumentalist. Since beginning his career in 2015 he has worked on nearly 20 film projects, some of which have been featured at several major film festivals across the globe. His style is rooted in an Indie sensibility, blending handmade acoustic texture with electronic elements to infuse a unique character into the projects that his scores accompany.
