Around Films is a network-based film collective which gathers our international colleagues all around. Alongside the aim of creating a custom approach, ARFF International selects the best filmmakers through the annual festival to associate with the related edition to enhance the collective consciousness through the visioners in the world. The Beeston Film Festival is an annual film festival hosted in a town in the heart of England: Beeston, Nottingham. Each year we showcase and reward the diverse talent of shorts filmmakers from around the world. Entries come from a wide range of genres: drama, horror, comedy, animation, and many more. Filmmakers compete to win our celebrated award, the Beeston Oscar or B'Oscar.

The Great Northern Creative Expo has evolved from a commitment to promote and showcase the creative talent that has been developed at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston and to also introduce to the world, the fantastic students and professionals that we have working at the University, whilst opening our doors to the city, to the North and the world beyond.

Once again, the expo will introduce a variety of talent which will include film, photography, media and journalism with performances, workshops, masterclasses, music, monologues, networking, animation and inspiration to one and all.

The expo has attracted some of the leading creative talents (nationally and internationally) and we are pleased to offer students, academics and the general public the opportunity to share a stimulating experience of creative talent which can be viewed, evaluated and enjoyed by everyone!

The Crown Heights Film Festival (CHFF) brings exceptional local and international short films to Brooklyn audiences. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for filmmakers in short form to foster cross-arts collaboration, and to provide a social forum for filmmakers. The festival has become an annual tradition held at FiveMyles Gallery in one of Brooklyn's most beautiful, diverse and vibrant neighborhoods.

CHFF facilitates an atmosphere of creativity and cultural diversity, bringing content creators, artists, writers and movie buffs together under one roof to meet and collaborate.

The Catalina Film Festival celebrates 9 years of IMAGINATION – EDUCATION – DESTINATION! Our Long Beach Launch starts the party on the mainland Wednesday and Thursday aboard our partner, the iconic Queen Mary, docked in Long Beach (our sister city across the sea). Two days of films, panels and parties put you in the independent film spirit before our Friday and Saturday charter boats sail off from the Queen Mary Terminal (in front of the ship) for a magical weekend on Catalina. On Sunday, we invite the mainland media and audiences to come see Catalina’s “Best of Fest” film winners back on the Queen Mary, celebrating who’s won this year’s Catalina Film Festival! What festival gives you ships, boats, helicopters, islands, and historic Hollywood history?… Catalina does!

SHORTS PROGRAM 2: Night Time Thrills

The Chicago Southland International Film Festival is a film festival located in University Park, IL and hosted by Governors State University. With core values of inclusiveness, diversity and promoting quality of life, we at GSU value an atmosphere that fosters a capacity to enjoy life through the fine arts and humanities. Set amidst the beautiful, art-abundant campus, this event serves as a stimulating opportunity to share and promote the vibrant arts and cultures community that exists at Governors State University.

Official Selections for both the student short film competition and professional short film competition will be screened during the weekend of September 6 & 7, 2019. Official Selection and award notifications will be delivered electronically. Physical prizes (certificates, plaques, trophies, etc.) will be given to the award winners at the awards ceremony.

The 5th annual Black Cat Picture Show is an international adjudicated film festival (the only one in Augusta) that provides a platform for independent film artists to exhibit their work in an intimate setting that facilities the exchange of ideas in order to cultivate artistic growth.

Formerly known as Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema, Festival of Cinema NYC is a non-profit organization established to support the development of Independent Filmmakers and help expand the audiences of independent cinema from around the globe. Festival of Cinema NYC aims is to break the stereotypes that are often associated with lower budget independent films. 

Founded by four local independent filmmakers with a passion to get movies made and to have those artistic voices heard, our goal is to establish a presence and awareness of cinematic creativity throughout Queens, NYC and neighboring communities, expanding the audiences of independent cinema from around the globe.
